Challenge & Opportunity

CNTRD worked with Gateway Blend’s multiple products during the two-plus year relationship. CNTRD got a product unstuck from the pipeline, explored paths to revenue diversification, and helped another product grow. CNTRD delivered value in two ways: (1) improving the firm’s ability to innovate using internal resources and (2) identifying millions of dollars in new revenue and helping them capture the new value using new strategies and tactics.

But this story does not have the perfect ending. After two years of successful work, CNTRD and Gateway drifted apart. Truthfully, we’re not sure what happened but we understand business has cycles. We do know that we received positive reviews for the work. The shared services were redesigned based on our model and new products, brands, and segments were launched based on CNTRD workshops and recommendations. It is similar to  dating. Sometimes we just move on. Sometimes we get ghosted. Sometimes we do not know what to say.
